LittleOak is the world’s first baby formula to be certified ‘palm oil free’. This all-natural brand was born out of one mother’s desire to relieve her son’s skin irritations that were caused by conventional dairy-based products. As parents, we connected with this story on a personal level and wanted our packaging design services to create a fun and sophisticated brand that evokes memories of childhood reading time. The brand’s mascots, Bertie and Gertie, bring out the playful side of the brand’s personality, which is enhanced via the colour palette, imagery and illustrations.

Pop-Up Stall – Westfields
As the brand is all about being as natural as possible, we envisioned it as a clean farmhouse for its pop-up stall. We thought that the best food packaging design would be to display the products as if they were fresh fruit and veggies in an organic stall and presented the product as if it was coming straight from a farm, i.e. with little processing and no unnecessary additives. The stall’s decor was taken straight from nature, with a grass floor and natural wood used for its construction.
We created the LittleOak launch event that was targeted towards millennial mums. We provided education and information on Goat Milk Formula and gut health in babies while the children were engaged in a seed-planting workshop in a further effort to connect them with nature.
